The Conservative Biblical View

An American President uses Christian theological terms to describe the current world view, sees the Iraqi invasion as part of a divine plan, and cultivates an environment that categories those that disagree as unpatriotic or even evil.

This article entitled Wonder-Working power is definitely worth a read and contemplation.

read a similar article in newsweek.
I think Bush is just another guy who thinks, over-confidently, self-righteously that GOd is on his side. I was once in the middle of a conflict of 2 respected Christians who uses the name of God and the bible to attack each other.
    Well, life goes on.

I’ve just got back from the National Folk Festival in Canberra. Here is the start of a song by Roy Bailey

I aint afraid of your Yahweh
I aint afraid of your Allah
I aint afraid of your Jesus
I am afraid of the things you do in the name of your God.

I aint afraid of your church
I aint afraid of your temple
I aint afraid of your preying
I am afraid of the things you do in the name of your God.

and so it goes. Reflected by sentiments fairly well.
