pants of steel getting rusty
It seems our man of steel’s pants are becoming a little rusty from past wear and tear.
It is significant that a person of the standing of Sir William Deane has publically criticized the man of steel’s government.

Arrogance is the patch Little Johnny uses on his backside these days. Even arrogance wears out eventually.

I commented on this a couple of days ago, but I either hit delete or it’s floating around somewhere.
Deane’s comments seem to have touched a raw nerve. John Anderson was quite upset and questioned his right to speak, even 2 years out from being GG. Good on him - Deane that is. Someone needs to hit where it hurts at times.

Why does someone, like John Anderson, get so upset about William Deane saying these things. If they are patently untrue then he should trust that the Australian public are intelligent enough to recognise them as such.
The only reason to be really upset is if they were true but you were trying to hush them up.
