What Microsoft didn’t tell us

Microsoft claims that they are shutting down their chat rooms because of the risks for children. Well, maybe they need to have a look at their IM as well. The fact that they are locking thirdparty clients out of their network soon - such as trillian is simply arrogance. More details here.

    Noone but you uses Trillian anyway. That’s why we didn’t hear about it.
    I finally posted after months of reading and that’s what I came up with. I am inspired.

    lots of us use trillian, and i thourght that the recent set of patches brought trillian upto spec with the current msn protocol. (not suggesting that MS wont suddenly change things to a new protocol that their newer clients already siliently support)
