I learnt lots yesterday
I met with someone yesterday. She taught me lots.
She has been through the wringer over the last couple of years.
Her career success and her wealth couldn’t protect her.
She has discovered faith.
She has read the New Testament on the train twice.
As I listened to her descriptions of grace, acceptance and love of God.
Between the “F….” and the “B….” there was deep understanding of the gospel.
It was her that was teaching and mentoring.
WOW what an experience!
I am looking forward to our lunches as we approach her baptism.
What a privilage we have as ministers.

Reminds me of a friend of mine… It’s nice to find someone who has totally embraced the gospel in the “real” sense — someone who is living a life that isn’t jaded by the “niceness” of our faith and who lives the faith as themselves… Not as a “Christian.”
(My comment doesn’t even completely make sense to me as I read it, but I know what I mean!)

I know what you mean Tim! She was untouched by our religiosity.

Let’s hope that she lets the Holy Spirit work on her life from within rather than let fellow Christians ‘pull her into line’ with their standards.
I love seeing Christians who are sold out to Jesus without losing their own, God given, unique character.

So, are the “F….” and the “B….” stops on the bus, or curse words? It’s not entirely clear to me from your context. Either way, glad to hear of her faith.

I am not sure what you mean about bus stops. Do you call you bus stops by letters over there? Anway, they are definitely curse words

I don’t ride the bus, but I do know that sometimes particular routes are named by letter, like the “A” route, or the “F” route. That’s what I meant. You might have made it more clear by using the universally recognized symbols for cursing: @#%$^@$!, so it would be “between the F*#% and the B*@#%! there was deep understanding…”
