Stephen Said has an interesting interview with Mark Sayers about the process that South Melbourne Restoration Community went through as they transitioned from an ‘attractional church’. For those of you who are reading ‘the shape of things to come’ by Alan Hirsch and Mike Frost, this is the church that Alan cut his ministry teeth at.

As the model they are using is similar to what we have developed at Northern, I thought the interview raised some interesting questions for contemplation for us.
Is corporate worship with all groups necessary on a regular basis necessary for unity?
What does it mean to coach and not manage our individual congregations?
