light posting
We haven’t been posting much, ironically at a time when heaps of stuff is going on at Northern and thinking through heaps of challenges. Maybe that is why we don’t feel up to the monumental task of reflecting on some of it.
Another reason for the lack of posting is that we have been spending a lot of time at our beach house doing the practical stuff of getting the place the way we like it. At the moment, that involves lots of backbreaking work getting the garden ready for good growth periods in spring and summer. It is amazing how rewarding simple practical work like this is - you can start and finish a job in one day - and once it is finished, you can walk away from it. Such a refreshing change from our normal lives and it is making us feel sane for a little while.
