new missional team
We started a new missional team today. It is a english conversation hour. The idea is that those in our community who would like to can come and practice their english over muffins and coffee. It will be interesting to see how it goes.
One of the things we are discovering as we attempt to re-orient our church ministries and programs to those who are not a part of our church, is how hard it is. It is so much easier to run a ’successful’ program within the Church. You advertise to your own people and encourage them to attend. Easy compared with attempting to connect with people who are not yet identified with nccc.
But, still exciting!
