Can I just say that I am so thankful that we can really see how much that you have journeyed with Jesus to this point. I am blown away by the words of this song and the others, I am part of music at my congregation and I am certainly advocating that we change to sing these words. Thank you Geoff.

Thank you for your encouragement… ther’s more to come in the series.. especially ‘Great Southland’. This is a very necessary part of me being able to ‘move’ forward, it enables the real me to be connected to the old me’s songs.

Geoff, could you please include some lyrics about surfing or atleast Vast Oceans and waves crashing in the new version of ‘Great Southland’…it has always been one of my personal favourites since I was a young Christian!

Geoff, it’s me again..
You know, this is what praise is about- God’s nature, His manifold mercies and grace. I like the fact that you have now stated that the heavens HAVE declared; for creation does indeed declare the glory of God.
The contrast between the 2 versions is astounding. It is almost as if the original was a net- all those holes… It served a great purpose then…Now, however, the gaps have been filled in with a maturity in faith that can only be evidenced by a heart that truly stands in awe of the greatness of Jesus.
For to know Him is to grow in awe of Him and His love…
