Original Version
This Kingdom
Words & Music: Geoff Bullock © 1995 Word Music
Jesus God’s righteousness revealed
The Son of Man, the Son of God,
His kingdom comes.
Jesus, redemption’s sacrifice
Now glorified, now justified,
His kingdom comes.
And this kingdom will know no end
And it’s glory shall know no bounds
For the majesty and power
Of this kingdom’s King has come.
And this kingdom’s reign
And this kingdom’s rule
And this kingdom’s power and authority
Jesus God’s righteousness revealed.
Jesus the expression of God’s love
The Grace of God,
The Word of
God, revealed to us
Jesus, God’s holiness displayed
Now glorified, now justified,
His king-dom comes.
And this kingdom will know no end
And it’s glory shall know no bounds
For the majesty and power of this Kingdom’s King has come.
And this kingdom’s reign
And this kingdom’s rule
And this kingdom’s power and authority
Jesus God’s righteousness revealed.
Revised Version
His Kingdom.

Jesus God’s graciousness revealed
The love of God, the heart of God,
revealed to us.
Jesus, redemption’s sacrifice
our hope revived, lives reconciled,
His grace has come.
And his kingdom will know no end
for his mercy shall know no bounds
as the grace and the compassion
Of this kingdom’s King has come.
And now forgiveness reigns
And his love now rules
Our hope and trust for all eternity
Jesus God’s graciousness revealed.
Jesus the expression of God’s love
The Grace of God,
The Word of God, revealed to us
Jesus, God’s heart of love displayed
Our hope revived, lives reconciled,
His grace has come.
And his kingdom will know no end
for his mercy shall know no bounds
as the grace and the compassion
Of this kingdom’s King has come.
And now forgiveness reigns
And his love now rules
Our hope and trust for all eternity
Jesus God’s graciousness revealed

Again, great change of words (although I must confess that I really enjoyed the first version as well.)
Is it okay to use these new versions in worship? Think the congregation would benefit from new words to old songs . . .
thanks
