Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all - we have a pretty special Christmas planned and I am looking forward to the day more than I have in years. We will let you know details after it has been. Posting will be light or non-existent over the coming days, because, as someone told Phil yesterday “If you are involved in a church, Christmas is a very busy time!!”

Take a moment to think of those less fortunate and recognise the strains that are placed on a lot of community organisations at this time of the year. Requests for emergency food at our church have increased exponentially in the last couple of weeks. So make sure you send a little bit of Christmas cheer the way of people who are helping out others this christmas. Try the Christmas Bowl if you don’t have a preferred charity.

May all of you experience joy and peace as you celebrate the coming of the Christ-child, the boy who became a man who changed the world.

It’s Christmas Eve and I’m spending a little time dropping in on the blogs I regularly read. I wish you a very merry Christmas and I look forward to reading your blog in 2006.
