    It costs a lot of money these days to advance our walk with God. I remember in my day we’d hold conventions at the local church, not at a cafe or other ungodly place in Satan’s domain. They’d be free too. Those who couldn’t afford a modest offering would bring a plate of food or offer to help arrange the seating or clean up afterwards. The speakers didn’t use big words like discipleship or sustainability. It was direct teaching from the God’s Holy Word, the Bible. It flew in the face of wordly sophisticated talk about post-modernism or counter-cultural. Just pure spiritual food from Holy men of God.
