Admin announcement
As you may be aware we have had some concerns recently with people (person) posting under multiple nicknames, often simultaneously and sometimes expressing diammetrically opposed views. We are suspicious that none of you actually exist. Unfortunately it is difficult to isolate all of the relevant identities with certainty or prevent further mischief without running the risk of blocking innocent people. We believe that we know at least seven identities which have been used by the one person, with several others on our flag list as possibly related. The process of cross-matching identities is difficult and we don’t really want to do it.
We would much prefer it if the person who we have clearly informed we do not want to have around here would just bugger off and leave us alone.
If you notice troll-like behaviour which sounds like it may be one of our dearly departed friends (even expressing views from a different theological stand-point) could you please email us so that we can try to see whether this is related. Please note, however, that we experience plenty of troll-like behaviour from people who aren’t related to this incident, so it might be unrelated.
Thank you for your assistance and apologies for any inconvenience.

Whoa. My world has turned upside-down.
It’s working, Phil. Nice job.

We seem to have one problem - that is when you click on a comment in the recent comments section you are not taken to that specific comments page but rather to the last page. Bear with us and we will see if we can correct that.

Any chance that a few more comments could be on each page? Say 20 or 30?

WOW, Excellent Phil!! I agree with PGG though, 20 - 30 comments at a time would be good. It still beats the hell out of loading 6 or 7 hundrend comments at a time, everytime, but 10 comments seems to be a bit too fragmented.

I would like it better if the last post in a page was at the bottom instead of the top so you can read it while replying.
can you do that for me Phil?

The things that happen when you leave the kids alone for the weekend…now get this room tidied up before I send you both top bed without any supper (and no Katie and Tom shinanigans either!)

Phil, Dan, you really puzzle me. There has to be much work to maintaining a blog such as this … and then you go and simplify things by (a) reducing the number of posts per page - a real help to us on dial-up and (b) reversing the posts so they scroll from top to bottom … hmmm, of course a cynic might wonder why this ever became necessary :).
Anyway, as one who is altogether new to “blogging”, i would like to express my appreciation to you both.

It works a treat! Much faster… Good on ya Phil and Dan!
