Forge national thinktank
I spent a couple of days last week at the forge national think tank in QLD. The increase in temperature certainly helped me to thaw out from State Youth Games!
The national forge thinktank was a gathering of established churches in australia that are attempting to shape their churches around mission. It was a stimulating time just because of the quality of leaders that was in the room.
The time at the conference was spent reflecting on the mDNA (Missional DNA) thesis of Alan Hirsch and its applicability to the local established church.
I scribbled down in my notepad some quotes that I thought I might share. I can’t remember who said them or even in what context but I think they stand on their own.
