soup kitchen name

Earlier this year we started a soup kitchen at Northern. It is coordinated by Tim Jeffries and is staffed mainly by work for the dole participants. The focus of the work for the dole program is hospitality and so each wednesday they prepare yummy soup and bread or scones.

So far we have just been calling it the soup kitchen. Which is a pretty bland name and so in line with our obsession for cool names we are seeking the help of signposters.

What would be a good name for a church-run, free community soup meal?

I just figured that i was your friend, but you’ve never invited me to call you ‘Stumpy McNomouth’ - just Greg The Explorer…

Are you holding something back from us? Are you being pose-erific? I want to be able to call you what your nearest & dearest call you…

    It’s Friday, and nearly beer-o’clock

It’s been beer opclock for a couple of huors at work already - bit of a BBQ - now getting back to work!

Ah, it’s just past lunch time here, so difficult to justify ‘beer-o’clock’ on the churches time until at least 4pm…

So, do I call you Stumpy or GTE?
    I’m desparate with confusion!
