I agree you can’t define yourself by the negative. But it is interesting to reflect on it and consider the emphasis given to certain things even though Jesus didn’t say or say much.

Interested in point 2 above … and wondering what you consider yourself?

(Of course we can’t be guided - in the negative - by what Jesus didn’t say. That would mean doing almost nothing … certainly blogging didn’t get a mention!)

And wondering who the God-appointed apostles are today? .. and does each church have its own, or are they universal?

I especially Like the bit about roast lamb, but not the bit about women speaking (…just kidding)

Just a small thing to note, that while I agree with the sentiment behind these points, the first 5 and the last one cite biblical references not to the gospels but to other parts of the Bible. So ‘Jesus didn’t really say them, someone else did!’
