Your request may be the lift to this persons day that they need and it would be something you would like if they agree - so do it...but get a gavel or a judgment or a book he wrote for him to sign or at the very least a leather bound journal (you could pick one up from a good book store...I've seen them in the one that also has gloria jeans attached to them.) and get him to write a favourite peice of poetry or a favourite quote along with his autograph.
