I live less than 10km from the CBD. This morning it took me almost two hours to travel that distance using public transport. If you are voting in this Saturday’s state elections, take the time to check out the policies of the various parties on public transport - yet another indication that the ALP sucks (all PDF): ALP, Greens, Liberal, Democrats, Family First. I would link to the People Power policy, but I can’t find it on the website. The choices admittedly aren’t great. You can look at an analysis by the public transport users association here.
