Okay this is the predictions thread. The celebrity death match concept is far too narrow. So make your predictions for 2007 - local, global, celebrity whatever floats your boat. lame jokes indeed - better than a rev who limps along after getting into a tangle with an enegmatic anglican leader from the Central Coast after suggesting a trip and then staying in Melbourne cause he’s scared.

“SB I was watching ACC last night (Australian Christian Channel for all of those who don;t have foxtel or Austar) and I watched about 5 minutes of Phil Pringle and the line that really got me was abuot corection - I had to laugh - he was telling people about other people who from time to time come to him and tell him that God has brought them to Phil to correct him -he charecterised these people as having cigarette packets sitting in their top pockets and did a voice that made them sound like drug-%#&@*#-idiots.
A very common occurance at CCC. I questioned PPP one time over his tithing doctrine and I was mocked from the pulpit on a regular basis (no mention of my name thankfully) for the next month, all done in a voice similar to the one described above.

I thought I might try and watch some ACC last night and caught a few minutes of CCC and Phil Pringle. What is the deal with the close ups of Phil, talk about scary. I could only handle a few minutes of the broadcast, and that was with the mute on for half the time

Oops… I’d forgotten Homer was once Homer Paxton before he was Bring Back EP at LP… I’d thought he was Homer Simpson… a perfectly understandable mistake in my opinion!!!!

If you check out the early archives of Signposts you’ll find Homer Paxton’s comments… which of course, eerily resemble Bring Back EP at LP’s comments.
