Forge goes regional
One of the new changed that Forge Vic is implementing this year is running a number of regional gatherings. The plan is to start with four gatherings in 2007 and grow into other areas from there. In 2007 there will be regional gatherings in the Dandenong ranges, Northern suburbs, Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland.
The Dandenong Ranges region under the leadership of Scott and Christina Aitken have got very organised and have a blog up and running.

Its pretty much dependent upon who the state leader is Greg. I think that this year is a bit of a trial in Victoria, so if it goes well I wouldn’t be surprised if other states copy the idea.

Well I hope things go well for you - I think a regional model would allow Forge to grow outside of it’s current metropolitan base. More and more regional peopoe are hearing about Forge and coming to intensives -some travelling from as far as Orange which is midwest NSW - 4 hours from Sydney.
It will be interesting to see how things go for you.
