“And here is something wild. You can hear all the youth cheering every time Hyles gets mentioned… Apparently, this was a video they showed at a youth conference. Can anyone tell me what the difference between this and a cult is, because I’m just not seeing it. Aberrant doctrine (King James-onlyism), wacky practices… leader worship follwed by nepotism…

    i liked the music. yeah, i liked the music. but the rest really gave me the heeby jeebies.

    actually to be honest the teenagers at a conference will cheer for anything for a sense of self-validation, even if they’ve only got a whiff of an idea what it is that they’re cheering for, so let’s not faulty them toooo much for that.

    This video reminds me of another video over at stoopid church people. Check out this naive youth pastor trying to get his audience into that “emotional high” zone.
