Nor does it seem to be decreasing the desire of people to come up and ask me for a book, so it looks like the Christian bookshops can stop worrying. You've got off easy! And all those comments about "Jesus walking into Word"...hmmm...don't make me laugh...we (as staff) often wished he would walk in. All those Gaither videos are probably an neffective barrier. As employers, the good people at Word were truly the worst I have ever come across. Poor wages, hypocritical mean spirited management, family run (which meant that after hours the boss' wife used to go through employees computers...), sack happy, non-overtime paying, no coffee at the desk, constantly referring to themselves as 'performing a ministry'...I could go on. Needless to say, dear Urbanmonk, that if you do get this job, grow a beard. Immediately. Something like a Wookie if you can. Your very sooouuuullll is at stake!!! And, yes, I am seeing a professional regarding my time there... Hey, I used to work at Word. You’ve got off easy!
