“Suffer The Children” DVD now launched
Trevor Glass has released his long-awaited DVD in which (I believe) ‘Signposts’ own ‘Absolute Truth’ may appear in the final edit.

“Suffer the Children” takes a look into the lives and lifestyles of some of the biggest names in tele-evangelism today. It explores the origins of the Word of Faith movement, also known as the Prosperity Gospel, and finds that its origins are not Christian at all …
… (it) takes a look into the sometimes hypocritical, frequently hilarious and often devastating world of television evangelism and asks the question ‘Is it all just a big money-making business?’ The film examines the multi-million dollar livestyles and teachings of some of the biggest names in tele-evangelism today including Benny Hinn, Kenneth & Gloria Copeland, Robert Tilton, Mike Murdock, Joyce Meyer and Hillsong Australia”.
You can watch the trailer or order your own copy here
Trevor is presently charging for the DVD as he personally invested in excess of $300K to create this movie with no other financial backers. Having seen the ‘pre-release’ edit, I think for a ‘first-time’ film producer he has done an impressive job.
And unlike many ‘prophetic’ Christian videos , this story is tempered with sensitivity and humour.

Have the vids actually been posted or is it just my antiquated computer set up that can’t cope? I really really really want to see the Jan Chicken story (I am inextricably drawn to televangelists with seriously bad hair.)

Yep, I just saw it. It stays blank for a while until it’s buffered a bit.

Just from a professional media presentation point of view, it’s disappointing that some obvious (to me) errors snuck through on the trailer titles (placement of apostrophes/lack of apostrophes/surplus to requirements apostrophes..)
Don’t know whether it’s too late to fix the trailer before it gets more widely circulated…..but the errors are quite glaring.

Lance - I have aksed Trev to look at the grammar. Good call. My wife picked it up too.
ANyway a Lutheran Pastor just reviewed the site and commented to me via email -
Why can ministers thatb sepn seven years going through an accredited seminary undersrand all this - yet megachurch pastors will never admit that there is a problem…?
