stars and stripes and that one up further
Dan and Phil are possibly heading over to the great Northern American continent during October this year. We plan to spend some time researching some churches that operate in a multi-congregational style, and also spend time catching up with friends and doing some sight seeing.
The intention is to visit the United States and Canada. I would love to add on the UK, but I think that will wait for another trip, another time.
We are open to suggestions on what we should see, specifically:
1/ churches that operate in a multi-congregational style similar to Northern Community
2/ churches that are doing innovative missional stuff
2/ must see sight-seeing stuff
3/ people/bloggers/signpost commenters to connect with (obviously the last two in that category are not people!)
4/ anything else you can suggest
Things we are not really interested in seeing:
1/ President Bush
2/ churches that are Sunday event focussed

Perhaps you could post / enquire about posting this question on Al Hirsch’s blog… there’s a few missional folks from the U.S. of A. who are regular posters there.

Actually never went to Disneyland. Sorry to escape the stereotype.

What? You let some mission in Chicago get in the way of a good junket? (removes tongue form cheek)

You could go to the Jery Falwell memorial shrine - just outside the offices of Hustler magazine
